Watch highlights from the 2016 Peaty’s Steel City downhill race

The biggest small race in the world

It may not have the glamour or glory of the World Cup circuit, but we still reckon Peaty‘s Steel City downhill is one of the best races on the planet.

The race is an annual event in Greno Woods and has been running since 2011. The track may not be the most technical in the world but this is a race that’s made by its community of fans who provide a great atmosphere on the day, fuelled, of course, by Peaty’s Trail Ale.

Steve Peat took the win in the men’s category (last year’s winner, Josh Bryceland, was not in attendance) and Tracy Moseley topped the podium for the women.
