Stefan over at Morroco Media has been getting some interesting footage together from the race here in Fort William. Looking back at the Geek Stats preview it’s clear that Sam Hill has had pace here before but fellow Aussie Troy Brosnan had the legs in qualifying taking top spot. Sam was +1.194s behind Troy and going by this video it seems some of that was made up on the motorway section.
Hill went faster to the first split by 0.40s but Brosnan was fastest at split two by 0.311s. So if Hill can pick up some time in split two then he could be on for a repeat performance of 2006 or 2007.
