Team Chain Reaction Cycles PayPal probably entered the 2016 Lourdes world cup with high hopes. Last year Mike Jones had his breakthrough ride here to claim third place and a resurgent Sam Hill looked to be on the pace in the off season.
Unfortunately it didn’t quite work out for the team with Jones only just sneaking inside the top 20 in 18th, Hill squandering down in 29th and Joe Smith in 38th.
