Shimano British Downhill Series 2014: Round 2 Results

Troy Brosnan getting his eye in for the next World Cup in four weeks

With the World Cup heading to Fort William in a few short weeks the second round of the Shimano British Downhill Series was always going to be packed with World Cup riders. We will have a gallery coming in from our World Cup snapper Laurence Crossman-Emms but for now here are the results.

Steve Peat sat this round out after competing in the Scottish 6 Day Trial, coming 110th wasn’t a bad result for the big man from Sheffield but he left the racing to Bryce this weekend. Rachel Atherton was also absent this weekend due to illness but she should be coming back at full power for the World Cup. Dirt Orange team rider Jacob Dickson landed 5th place in Juniors and took him onto the podium beating his Round 1 place from Antur Stiniog. Harry Heath stuck in a solid 12th and with some more in the tank he’s going into Fort William confident. Check back later for a full report from the team.

With a stacked field of riders the weekend went down something like this…
