The Polygon UR team was one of the few in the pits to not have major changes over the off season. Here’s how they got on at the first World Cup of the year:
Tracey Hannah rode a super clean race and came away with a 4th on the podium and a great start to her overall challenge!
In the men’s main event Andrew Neethling took the hotseat and eventually held on for a 31st position . Both Mick Hannah and Alex Fayolle experienced difficulty in their runs . Mick, riding with an injury had a mechanical issue to hinder him. Alex, performing in front of his home crowd after qualifying 11th attempted to ride down on a flat tire, drawing huge cheers from the crowds.
The team now move on to Sea Otter and Cairns where the team can expect huge support in Mick and Tracey’s home town.
