Today it’s the big one…Das Uber D.

So the DAS UBER D format was real popular the first time I ran it in December so i figured that we may as well blow minds again and show the rest of the world how freakin awesome the DAS UBER D is.

This time we had a slightly different course in order to take advantage of a couple new sections of trail and to allow us to have a ‘man option’ and a ‘pussy option’ in a few spots.

riders came from all over the globe for this event, seriously. riders from NZ, Scotland, UK, France, USA, Canada, Australia, Germany, and even Columbia. but what is he giving him?

for this event we decided it might be best to have a course map as many visiting riders wouldnt be familiar with the trails. we got every rider to sign it and now it is hanging on the wall in Revolver but we did threaten to sell it on Ebay because there are some big name signatures on there. Katrina Strand and Emily Johnston. Katrina turned up from Whistler via Australia the day before this event but it was pretty much custom made for her. i mean its a mountain bike race where riders start at the top of a big mountain and ride down technical trails which are interspersed with short sections of uphill and then the finish line is IN a bar.

PPS. i would of said that even if she hadn’t told me to because she does.

– Revolver bar in Queenstown has to be one of coolest bars of all time. fairly priced beverages, live music, awesome owners, hot chicks behind the bar, and they let masses of dirty bikers park their dirty bikes inside the bar. how f-ing rad is that?

you may of read elsewhere that Paul Angus (former scottish dh champion, former wild man and now health monk) won the Brakeburner race the week before. he has said if he won he would have a drink again like old times. this was the moment where beer touched his revirginised lips for the first time in too long of a time.
