A huge moment for Laurie Greenland, turning around what was a non-event of a qualifier and taking the win here, which also sealed him the overall series title! And we are dancing around the room as our very own Jacob Dickson takes second, just .7 back and flying the Orange Dirt World Team flag in style. FMD Racing have two third places today, with Neil Stewart finally confirming the speed and skill that he clearly has in abundance and taking a well-earned third place.

Atherton does it again in a near-perfect season for the Brit. Her nearest rival from qualifying, Myriam Nicole, crashed out leaving the door open for a British 1-2-3, with Manon Carpenter and Tahnée Seagrave rounding things out. Atherton already took the series title in qualifying, but with Carpenter and Seagrave close in second and third respectively coming into this race they will continue to do battle at the final round in Italy in two weeks.

Men
Utter demolition of the field by Aaron Gwin in front of probably the wildest crowd in mountain biking! The American brought it home to a reception unlike any other with fans of all ages roaring and chanting his name. Meanwhile, Loic Bruni was left at the sidelines of the finish area having flatted mid-course. The unfortunate Frenchman just doesn’t seem to have a single ounce of luck. Bruni’s teammate Loris Vergier, however, had a faultless run and stormed to his best ever result, in third place. And then there was that most familiar of faces, Greg Minnaar. The South African steps once again into the top three, sandwiched between Vergier and Gwin.
