Tracey Hannah has qualified first at the Leogang World Cup. Riding high after her performance in Fort William, she lay down a scorcher to extend her lead at the top of the overall standings.
Tracey Hannah was first down the hill and set the benchmark time of 3:40.314. She must be carrying huge confidence into the Austria as only Tahnee Seagrave came close to the Aussie but even she was nearly two and a half seconds back. Manon Carpenter was fastest through the third sector but it wasn’t enough to overcome Hannah’s storming place and she finished third.
Myriam Nicole seemed to be matching Hannah in the first half of the track but must have made a mistake around the third split as she ended up six seconds back in fourth.
Eleonora Farina carried over her pace from timed training yesterday to finish fifth.
