Matt Walker has just won the Fort William World Cup in Fort William.
The British Champion and second fastest qualifier put down a time of 4:50.155 to claim the his first win since Cairns last year.
Finn Iles was in the hotseat when Walker came down but Walker smashed his time by 5 seconds. Iles looked annoyed in the hot seat though so we assume he had an issue on course.
First place qualifier, Sylvain Cougoureux, was not able to match his performance from yesterday and finished third.
There was further British success as Kade Edwards and Joe Breeden cleaned up the top five. Kade was holding his shoulder on the hotseat and we think he tagged a tree on his way down.
Breeden had drivetrain issues up on course – not ideal for the motorway pedal fest, but he still put in a solid run, less than a tenth of a second off Edwards.
