In the flesh this track is mint, awesome. All the riders seem to love it, Minnaar commented that one section reminds him of Val di Sol. Fairclough is looking forward to doing well here.
The start gate has the steepest drop I’ve ever seen, from there the open field section has quite a gradient so carrying speed shouldn’t be a problem. After that 20 second blast the track drops into the steep stuff. Wide, loose off camber turns, steep drops, rocks…it’s all here. As well as predicting rain the locals reckon the track is sub 2 minutes 30.
Whatever the weather, there will definately be some exciting,close racing come Sunday.
