Crankworx Air-DH recap

There was a funny atmosphere at the Air-DH in Whistler yesterday. A Line arose with more craters than a warzone on the moon while small crowds turned out to watch and party trains were kept to a minimum.

Last year’s winner preparing to defend his crown

The Air-DH sed to feel like an exhibition of whips, scrubs and sends, yesterday’s felt more like, well, a bike race.

Far more popular than the Garbanzo, A-Line brings the masses.

Jill Kintner reigned supreme for another year, she’s now unbeaten on this course since 2013 and looks well on track for another Queen of Crankworx crown after a great week. There was a shock winner in the men’s competition as pump-specialist Adrian Loron pushed past the downhill royalty to claim the top step.

Total domination from Norco today. Two wins and a second place for the Canadian brand
