This weekend sees the World Cup circus return to the Australian jungle in Cairns, the host venue of the memorable 1996 World Championships, where a moto-looking Shaun Palmer made his World Champs debut and contrasted the skinsuits of the time, nearly snatching victory from Nicolas Vouilloz in the process.
