If you’re a Yeti fan then get the weekend of the 23rd/24th June in your diaries now.
What’s happening? Well it’s 9th time that Yeti owners from all over the county will be able to get together and celebrate everything Yeti as part of this year’s Tribe Gathering. For 2012 the decision has been made to move out of Wales (just), and so the location this year is Long Mynd trails in Shropshire. The base for the event will be Ratlinghope (near to Church Stretton) and everything will kick off on the Saturday as the tribe gathers to take in the trails of Long Mynd before returning to enjoy an evening BBQ at the Bridges Pub. If the thought of a fine beverage and some cremated or underdone meat isn’t enough to satisfy you, then there will also be an indoor Yeti museum to help while away the time. Come Sunday it’ll be a case of hitting the trails at nearby Eastridge, no doubt with more chat about turquoise bikes.
Throughout the weekend Yeti rider Scott Beaumont will be on hand to help out on the skills side of things, and then if your bike needs a bit of TLC then Plush Hill Cycles will also be there to help you out. And, if you’re looking to add to your Yeti collection then UK distributor Silverfish will be there with all the latest frames and bikes.
The best bit of news? It’s completely free to attend (you obviously do have to pay for your accommodation), and by registering now on the Yetifan website you will also get limited edition tribe goodies on the day. Full travel and accommodation details can also be found there.
Isn’t it about time your Yeti was in the line up?
