The weather is turner colder and wetter but that’s no excuse not to ride, even better than that the Woodland Riders are putting on a winter DH series based at Gawton DH near Tavistock, Devon.
Its cheap racing too at only £23.50 per round with an easy push up. This means there is plenty of time to get runs in and as an added bonus all races carry BC points. So grab your bike, have some fun and earn some points in the off season.
The day will be run with the same format as all previous races at woodlands:
08:00-09:15 course will be open for inspection on foot.
08:30-10:15 Sign-on will be open.
09:30-11:45 course will be open for practice.
12:30 first race runs will start.
Second race runs will start 15mins after the last rider of the first race runs has completed his or her run.
All entries will be handled online via the BC website. And will cost the usual £23.50 to enter online.
If you intend to enter please take the time to enter online as it will save us all time on Sunday morning.
Online entry will close the Friday before the race weekend at 20:00.
The winter series will consist of four races using new track sections, including a complete new lower section for Avalanche to make it a bit more interesting. Categories include; Female, Hardtail (Non-Ranking), Junior, Juvenile, Master, Ripper, Senior, Veteran, Youth, Expert/Elite and Female U14.
