You might not realise but Hope have been making disc brakes for years, bred from the need of the company founders to have something better than V-Brakes Hope started developing something that went on to revolutionise the bike world. Loads of riders jumped on the new brakes and shunned sponsors to ride Hope instead. Rob Warner won the World Cup in Kaprun back in the day on a set of Hope brakes, or probably off them most of the time!
