Billy ‘the web’ is on his way to the Val di Sole World Cup taking place this weekend…

…so we’ve collated a ton of information to get you ‘in–gear’ and ‘up to speed’ for the final round of this year’s World Cup. We’ve got the current standings, the weather, Dirt TV from last year, the schedule…the lot.

CURRENT WORLD CUP STANDINGS
DH MEN
So in the men’s Aaron Gwin has already walked away with the title. With a maximum of 250 points available at the last round all the places behind him are up for grabs. Only Gee Atherton can take second place off Greg Minnaar, but it is fourth and fifth on the podium where the battle is really going to take place. Smith, Hart, Macdonald, Cole, Leov, Peat…in fact technically 14th place Troy Brosnan could still get on the podium (unlikely I know).

DH WOMEN
DH women is still all to play for. Moseley is 150 points clear, so is in the driving seat, but anything could happen. If it all goes as it should the top five shouldn’t really be changing.

4X MEN
There is only 125 points max to be won in 4X, so Graves has it. Second through to fifth will be interesting.

4X WOMEN
Beerten has won it by a mile, but who will show up to claim the other podium positions?

AVERAGES
OK, here’s a bit of a geeky one for you. Ben here (another work experience person!) has worked out the average result of each of the top riders so far. It is a bit tricky because in some rounds the odd rider DNF’d, so we have just averaged out the ones where they scored points (a bit dodgy I know, but it is just a bit of fun).
