So it has gone a bit quiet with Aaron Gwin and his new set up after the news broke that he was leaving Specialized, but he has just sent the press this update to his plans:

“Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to give you guys a quick update on what I’ve been up to. I realize that it’s been a while since I’ve released any news and a lot of you would like to know my plans for next year. First, I’d just like to say a huge thank you for your excitement, the amount of interest that I’ve gotten during this new step in my career has been crazy. I’d hoped that I could have announced the news weeks ago but it just didn’t work out. As you can imagine, there are a lot of pieces that need to be put together when building a top level program, from the ground up. I’ve only had a few short months to take this on and I’ve done my best to make sure that every last detail was attended to at the highest level possible. That being said, I’m very happy with how the whole team has come together. I’m also super excited to begin a relationship with a few new personal sponsors.
