Stanton Ti Slackline

Mitch Ingley riding the new Stanton Ti Slackline do everything hardtail.

Here’s what Mr Stanton himself, Dan Stanton says about the Ti Slackline:

I believe you only get one chance at life and you should do, or at least attempt to do something you truly want to do and believe in. I’ve poured my heart and soul into starting this company and to be quite honest the Ti Slackline is the epitome of what I’ve been trying to achieve. I’ve spent two years learning and prototyping to get this to be what I consider the perfect do everything hardtail.

I used aero-space grade 3AL 2.5V Titanium and went through numerous combinations of tube sets to get this frame to ride spot-on and keep the weight low!

The Geometry is the same as the current 853 Slackline aside from the fact that, because of the way the material can be manipulated in the design phase I was able to slacken the head angle out 1 a degree (1/2 a degree with a flush fit cup) without losing the nimble nature of the Slackline frame.

The Vid

I got a young lad who goes by the name of Joe Chimpy O’Brien to shoot this vid. He’s a 17yr old lad who shoots videos for and is involved in the FreeRunning scene. I took him and our boy Mitch to some of my favoured, not necessarily riding spots, but just places that mean something to me in the peak district. Thor’s Cave, Grindleford woods, Curbar Edge and finally the awesome shoot that runs off the top of Stanton Moor down to the Druid Inn. The clouds were heavy with rain all day, the ground; especially the rock steps were super slippery!

And up on the top of Curbar was out and out treacherous due to gusting winds, I had Mitch following the ridge line and as soon as he took to the sky he’d be blown 3ft towards the edge.

The day was such a great laugh and I wouldn’t have changed a thing …especially the Hunters Pie I had in Bakewell.
