With recent news that the Enduro World Series is heading to the Tweedlove Festival for round 2 of it’s second season it seems Scotland is going to have another set of events to give racers a Scottish Enduro experience.
No Fuss Events have been putting on events for 10 years and not for profit MTB Innerleithen have joined forces with them to put together the 2014 series. The team have guaranteed that each of the 6 rounds will be unique and challenging for racers.
Enduro racing is hugely popular right now and we felt that the demand for a National Series was high. Collaborating with Innerleithen MTB racing allows us to provide a country wide series and to promote working together as part of the biking community. Frazer Coupland, No Fuss Events
Based on the gravity enduro format with practice and seeding taking place on the Saturday and the race going down on Sunday, generally over 5 stages. We also hear there will be some day and night events so that should mix things up a bit!
Dates for the races are right here but all locations are to be confirmed, from the press release it looks like some classic Scottish venues will be used along with some new ones so that should keep things fresh. The series will be affiliated through Scottish Cycling with entries on their website, we’ll keep you updated as soon as we know what the score is.
