Sam Hill has announced his wife is setting up a shop to sell off his old race jerseys with proceeds going to the Steve Smith Bike Park.

The jerseys will be dating back to 2004 (his first year as an elite) so there should be plenty to chose from, and they will all be signed by the man himself.

The shop is going live on Sunday at 6pm AWST (10am UK time) here. Don’t miss out on your chance to grab a piece of mountain bike history.

The Stevie Smith Bike park is due to be built in the late World Cup champion’s home town of Nanimo. So far $68,000 has been raised by the mountain bike community on GoFundMe plus a further $18,000 by a recent beer and burger event organised by his mother.

Michelle Corfield, the founder of the Stevie Smith Legacy Fund, said: ““We want to create a bike park that youth in Nanaimo can go to and enjoy, and those that come to us from other parts of the world can enjoy too.

“I think this is the place that friends and supporters of Steven’s can come and have a ride and think about him and his training ground, because he grew up on the BMX track next door.”
