In the current issue of Dirt is a wonderful article written by yours truly from the recent Red Bull Rampage. It was one of the most nuts events I’ve ever been to and I hope that comes across in the article but if you are up for a bit more, and I suggest you should be, then make sure you check out Channel 4 on the old telly box this weekend, that is Sunday 30th November. There’s gonna be a marvellous piece of viewing from those crazy guys at Freesports on 4. So get the telly on at 8.25am or an hour later on Channel 4+1. But as that is such an unsociable hour for a Sunday it would be worth digging out a blank VHS or programming the Sky+ dependant on how technologically advanced you are as it’ll definitely be worth checking out.
Here’s presenter Phil Young interviewing Dan & Gee Atherton, a shot that I’m sure will have made the cut and you’ll see in the show.
… and guess who the co-presenter is. That lovely lad Robert Warner. They obviously hadn’t seen the Cunny presenting talent before casting but to be fair the Warner was on top form. Maybe next year I could be the co-co-presenter with him and Phil? This is a shot of Rob, Me, and Photographer Sven Martin on one of the wooden kickers, Rob was suffering with Vertigo.
The show will all be masterfully shot by this guy, Mark Brennan, the possessor of the craziest accent ever! Half Geordie, Half Welsh. Sounds mega I promise ya, although I doubt you’ll get to hear it as he was behind the camera all the time.
And here’s the shows Director, Dylan Davies, giving some last minute instruction to Gee Atherton. You can see the video of this tip on the latest Animal Commencal Podcast that will be up on this site very soon.
And if you can’t wait till Sunday, here’s a short film I made whilst out there in between journalistic duties. Enjoy my Lovelies!!!
