Mitch Chubey sending the Canon Gap.
Rampage is nearly here and the countdown is on, every year riders step it up even further, that line Gee Atherton built last year has been eyed up in 2013 by Mitch Chubey and Mark Matthews. After a lot of dig time from his crew 12 months ago Gee crashed out on his first attempt, this year both Chubey and Matthews put work in to get the line up and running. Here’s what went down when Chubey hit it for the first time.
With only a select few riders pre-qualified most had to battle it out to make their place in today’s finals. Dustin Schaad took a massive tumble but somehow walked away unhurt, Mike Hopkins kept things smooth and sailed down the course whilst Kelly McGarry threw down some big gaps along with a corked 360.
Dirt wants to wish Brendan Fairclough good luck after nailing the massive gap he started on last year. Send it for the UK Bren!
