In just a few days, freeriders and racers alike will be arriving in Leogang for the 2007 Out of Bounds Weekend, where they will be tested on the world’s best mountain bike dirt jump course and the only dual freeride racetrack in the world.

The Out of Bounds Weekend will be in effect from June 7th – 10th at Bikepark Leogang. Besides the 26TRIX, Leogang will host the Kona Top 2 Bottom Terminator, a dual Freeride slalom, for the first time this year. The registration is open to everyone on www.bikepark-leogang.com.

26TRIX will consist of twenty-five of the world’s top dirt jumpers throwing down on an epic dirt jump course. The jumps are mountain bike-sized, set on a steep hill with huge gaps and crazy hips, snaking down into the village of Leogang.

Last year the 26TRIX event was filled with amazing feats, like Greg Watts’ double backflip and the emergence of two new freeride stars: Andreu and Lluis Lacondeguy. Who knows what we can expect this year! Riders have been training and competing all summer events like the Qashqai Urban Challenge, so the level of riding for 2007 is already at an all-time high. It will be great to see what can happen when these riders are applied to a perfectly built dirt jump course.

Up-and-coming riders will also have an opportunity to shine at the 26TRIX. There will be open spots available for riders to pre-qualify for the event on Saturday morning, in order to compete against the top riders in Leogang. Please email last minute applications to [email protected]

In addition to the excitement of the 26TRIX event, the Kona Top 2 Bottom Terminator will add another level of energy to the Out Of Bounds Weekend. This race will be a dual freeride slalom event – riders will race head-to-head on a course that is modified from a high-class dual slalom course with freeride obstacles, requiring the riders to negotiate crazy obstacles at high speed.

The top three riders of the Kona Top 2 Bottom Terminator are going to go home with some fresh bikes, too. Two Kona Scrap complete bikes go to the first two winners and a large Scrap frame will be handed out to the riders who took 3rd place in the Terminator podium in Leogang. On top there will be many more KONA prizes for the other finalists.

The evenings of the Out Of Bounds Weekend will be just as exciting as the days, with many special programs planned and live music. The schedule is as follows:
