MTBcut.tv Announce Rider Support for 2008

Internet TV site MTBcut.tv, in partnership with Orange bikes, have announced that for 2008 they will support two of the most talented young riders in the UK. The new team will consist of Scottish Champion and top Elite NPS rider Joe Barnes and last years Juvenile NPS silver medallist Lew Buchanan.

Joe Barnes has become an NPS and World Cup regular over recent years and has firmly established himself as one of the UK’s top riders. Last year he also completed the double of the winning the Scottish Championships and SDA series ahead of several well know Scottish names. He has been training hard at home in Fort William throughout the winter in preparation for a big 2008 season.

Lew, at only 14, will this year move up into the Youth category and already looks like he will be a podium regular. Throughout the winter Lew has been training under the watchful eye of Dirtschool’s Chris Ball and is undoubtedly a big hope for the future. For 2008 he will be aboard his brand new 224 kitted out with Mojo tuned Fox 40’s and is looking forward to his first shot at the youth title.

The MTBcut 224’s have been given a fully custom paintjob and graphics by www.apex-graphics.co.uk. In the fluro pink you certainly won’t miss the guys on the hill!!!

MTBcut videographer and racer Stu Thomson has also thrown himself into the mix and will join the 2 riders at a few races this year also on an Orange 224.

The two riders have the full backing of title sponsors www.MTBcut.tv and Orange bikes. The guys would also like to thanks Hope, E13, SDG and Cyclejersey.com
