Gaetan Vige has won the junior World Cup race at Mont Sainte Anne. Just three hundredths of a second separated Vige from home-grown hero Finn Iles as he claimed his second victory of the year.
Iles was top qualifier and seemed to have the race sewn up as he blazed through the first three splits. However, a mistake pushed him backwards and allowed the Commencal rider to take the win. Iles will not be to disappointed though as he maintains a healthy series lead heading into the final round at Vallnord.
Third place went to improving Brit Elliott Heap with Canadian Magus Mason grabbing his best result of the year with a fourth and Kevin Marry rounding out the top five.
