The Megavalanche hootenanny kicks off next week in Alpe D’Huez, France. I don’t know the exact percentage, but the Brits have swamped the entries again this year. We can’t seem to get enough of sliding on our arses down a black ski run at eight in the morning while watching our pride and joy disappear down the piste, oh happy days.

Talking of snow I met Olivia, one of the organisers, last week and she told me that this year there is more snow than ever before. There is even snow on the qualifying track, woo hoo.

The Dirt crew will be going out again, accompanied by some old cider drinkers from Monmouth and a Dirt stall selling nic nacs.

Expect even more snow this year.
