Here are the unofficial results from Saturday downhill qualifying at Maribor.
Riders are still coming down but its safe to say it’ll be a Monster Specialized one/two with Hill and Fairclough at the moment. Dirt Norco rider Ben Reid had a flier for 8th. Bryceland aiming for his first podium in 7th. Stevie Smith and Luke Strobel also enjoying the conditions. Spagnola doing it for Mondraker in Barels absence.
Aaron Gwin appears to be out of the top 80, but is a top 20 protected rider so should be safe for the finals.

In the womens flat pedal rider Myriam Nicole leads the way. Rachel Atherton had an almighty spill while trying to clear the last double. With her broken finger she just couldn’t hold on to the bike as it came up short. Tracy Moseley took it easy after a big scare on the first jump in the fog. Sabrina Jonnier wasn’t happy with her run either.
