“A few years after moving to Whistler to ski, mountain biking became my life. The girls at Women’s Nights became my friends and my job was something I did between biking and sleeping. Riding the Park is now my home and the people and experiences here allow me to live it”.
– Lula Darquier, Whistler Mountain Bike Park Team Rider.
The video is centred around Whistler Bike Park team athlete Lula Darquier. She became hooked on mountain biking a few years ago when her husband gave her a downhill mountain bike for her birthday. Ever since, biking has become her life, the girls she met at Women’s Nights are now her family and the bike park is her home. The video depicts Lula’s take on the immersive experience of the bike park and the common bond that bikers share and develop while they’re winding through the trails. Whether you’re gunning it down gnarly lines or easing your way around berms for the first time, the joy of mountain biking seeps into your core – the experience will transform you.
