Kona introduces Bike Park Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, Austria

Last week we were lucky enough to sample the brand new Serfaus/Fiss/Ladis Bike Park in Austria while on the Kona Process launch. Whilst we were out ripping up the new trails on equally new Kona’s, two Kona pro riders in the shape of Connor Fearon from Australia and newly-crowned 2013 UK Gravity Enduro champion Alex Stock, were playing about in front of a camera, showing just what their Carbon Operator and and 111mm travel Process were capable of…

Fair play to the Kona crew for putting out an edit so soon, especially one that does the incredible trails of Fiss justice. It serves as a brilliant introduction to the ‘flatpack’ bike park, which opened less than a month ago and was built from scratch this year. Fiss already has three superb trails – a jump line with over 40 airs and features, a super tech black line, and a family friendly blue line. – and the town has more planned to be ready in time for 2014. There is also a proper bike shop (with Kona’s for hire), a decent bike wash (free to use), a large pumptrack and skills area, and daily barbecues. If you’re looking for somewhere to ride your bike in Austria with lift access then we recommend this one highly. The hundreds of people riding every day while we were there probably would too.
