For 2014 we have once again joined forces with Ben Reid to continue with the Dirt race team, this year we’ve teamed up Orange, O’Neal, DT Swiss, Schwalbe, Dirty, Renthal, Mucky Nutz, Works Components, Gamut, Fox Suspension and Bell. Earlier this week we headed up to Antur Stiniog to catch up with the guys.

Along with Reidy we also have Harry Heath and young gun Jacob Dickson on board, This year Ben will be taking more of a managerial role, he will also be in charge of spanners for the team, but still dipping his toe into a couple of the races. 16 year old Jacob will be racing in the Junior category, he’ll be gaining some pretty amazing racing experience, and I’m sure we’re going to see some great things from him. Harry Heath has been putting some pretty serious training in over the off-season, and seems to be enjoying being part of a team after his year as a privateer.

The Team Steed

This year the guys will be riding the Orange 322, the team will be working closely with Orange to help develop their bikes. Here’s a rundown of the spec list, of the set up the team are running.

The Team

Ben Reid

This is an exciting change for the team and we are grateful to have the opportunity to work together with another great UK company. In keeping with our sponsor line up this season we also have a strong UK rider focus but still racing on the international scene.

Harry Heath

Starting racing as a kid, Dirt Mag is what I read and Orange bikes is what I raced so it’s come full circle for me. To get the chance to be on the Orange/Dirt World Team is an amazing opportunity and one I’m really excited about.

Jacob Dickson

I’m over the moon on riding the Orange 322 and the fact that Ben and Harry are my team mates will be great. I’m hoping to gain knowledge from their experience of World cup racing.
