Whatever your thoughts on e-mountain bikes, you certainly shouldn’t knock them until you’ve tried them and the Cycle Show will give you the perfect opportunity to do just that.
On September 23-25, the floor of Birmingham’s NEC will play host to a 300 metre track that features moguls, berms, a rock garden and a steep wooden ramp to test climbing. The track has been designed by BMX legend turned BDS racer Kye Forte with over 400 tonnes of dirt being shipped in to build it.
The demo fleet available to test for free at the show includes the latest eMTBs from Cube, Haibike, Trek and Stealth and the brand experts will be on hand with advice on which bike is best for your needs.
What’s more, riding on the track will be captured by a dedicated filming team from GoPro and shown on a big overhead screen so friends and family can watch all the action.
The new track is open every day between 9.30am to 5pm from Friday 23 to Sunday 25 September and the Cycle Show team expect the track to be very popular so you’re urged to arrive early.
No matter what you think about e-mtbs this is the perfect opportunity to have a laugh on one without worrying about trail access or ‘cheating’ – you never know, you may end up enjoying it!
