That’s right, we now have the technology in place to send you race results from the World Champions from Canberra, Australia, directly to your phone immediately after the event (well as long as Billy ‘the web’ remembers). The 4X World Champs takes place on Friday September 4th, with the Downhill on Sunday 6th, so you will get both men’s and women’s results in 4X (2 texts) and men’s and women’s, and Junior and Senior results in the downhill (4 texts). So whether you are out riding your bike or round at your mums for Sunday lunch, you will get the results sent directly to your phone as soon as it happens (each text will cost you 25p). Unfortunately this is only available at present to UK residents.

All you need to do to receive the results service is text UCI to 87474. Texts will be charged at 25p per update.
