Big Mike the editor of Dirt is giving me grief.

We had a conversation that went something like:

“What the hell are you putting pictures of f*****g cake on the website for?”

“Because a guy called John sent it in the post”

“What about the f*****g news? What about Trek? What about Sam Hill? What about Crankworx? What about anything to do with mountain biking???”

“It’s a chocolate toffee cake”

“Okay put the kettle on then and cut me a slice”
