Emmeline Ragot Wins World Championship gold

Young French rider Emmeline Ragot has won the Womens Downhill World Championship Gold Medal in Canberra.

Last women down Sabrina Jonnier had a big off 1.40 in to her run, and came down with a front flat and a bleeding arm.
Tracy Moseley was disappointed with second but it’s still a silver medal at the Worlds. Kathy Pruitt had a great race and sat in the hot seat for an awful long time. Third at the Worlds is a great achivement for Kathy.

The Elite Men are just starting now so I’ll report back later.

She’s been riding well all year at the World Cups, it seemed only a matter of time before she won a race, and now Emmeline Ragot is World Champion.

Tracy Moseley takes silver at Canberra.

Kathy Pruitt 3rd.

Sabrina Jonnier clearly very upset after her race incident.
