DMR Bikes Pump Track Challenge in Bristol

Get your pump on down Brizzle way for the DMR challenge and the WideOpenmag end of season party on Nov 19th.

DMR Bikes Pump Track Challenge – Saturday 19th November in Bristol.

Join us for the first ever race on the brand new Brunel Way pump track in Bristol followed by a huge end of season party.

Followed by the massive Wideopenmag end of season party – hosted by Monster Energy!

We have great line up of Pro riders coming race from all sorts of sports including 2010 4X World Champion Tomas Slavic, British 4x Champion Scott Beaumont and the Monster boys, Sam Pilgrim, Josh Bryceland, Sam Reynolds, with poster boy Olli Wilkins and track builder and DMR rider Duncan Ferris to name just a few.

£400 prize money for Pro Cat and great prizes from Lezyne for all categories.
Open to anyone to race with a mountain bike & full face helmet.

The DMR Bikes Pumptrack Challenge is great for rider and crowd participation so its easy to see how this will become one of the great fun events on the calendar.

The track is located under the fly over with no direct road access.

Parking is in the near by streets and local park. (no parking next to the track)

It’s a big day of action with Saturday afternoon race and the Monster party on Saturday night.

Event Awards:

The top 3 riders in all categories will receive a trophy and great prizes at the podium presentation.

The top 3 Elite Men win Prize money.

3rd £50

To enter just turn up on the day.

Entry fee to race is only £10, timed heats and knockouts.

Registration will be open from midday on Saturday.

Race Times.

1.00pm Timed Qualifying
1.30pm Knockout rounds
4.00pm Finals

Bikes

Any mountain bike can be use with a minimum of 24″ wheels (not bmx’s) but we’d recommend riding a 4X or dirt jump hardtail bike to get the most fun. Check out the DMR Bikes website for the latest designs or the DMR Bikes stand at the event.

Number Plates:

Everyone will be given a race plate for your bike.

Please remember to bring your number plates from the last round.

Format:

The format for racing is quite simple with timed lap or laps of the track and straight knock out rounds using Quarter’s, Semi’s and Finals (depending on the number of riders taking part.)
To give everyone a great chance to win some prizes & a trophy there will be 4 categories

Rippers 12 to 16
Open 17+
Ladies 12+
Pro

Prizes

Lyzene will be supplying prizes and have a special Exploder challenge which will be revelled on the day at each event.

Pro Prize Money is a whopping £400 –

DMR Bikes team will be present and on hand to provide support and information to anyone who stops by their Stand.

No Camping or car parking on site.

Car Parking – no parking at track there is loads of parking around the area on the near by car parks & streets.

if you’re feeling a bit handy then there will be loads of prizes for the people that set the fastest time around the track. it’s going to be a proper trial of strength and endurance as well as bike handling.

If that’s not enough, Monster Energy will be joining us for the race to fuel the riders for free. They’ll be on site with the amazing Monster Energy truck and will be handing out drinks for free.
