flowmtb dirtgirls are celebrating their 3rd summer of running women only mountain biking trips in the Alps.

This year the holiday will run from the beautiful Rose des Alpes Hotel in Champery, Switzerland, for the week of 2-9th August.

Not only are there amazing trails on the doorstep, a private dining area and an in-house bar, but a hot tub on the terrace to chill out in after a hard days riding!

Training will be run by the Masters World DH Champion Petra Wiltshire, who’s sponsored by the Trek – Extreme Medics Racing Team presented by thecyclejersey.com. An inspirational rider, who’s been guiding in the area for years, Petra is the kind of person whose magic touch gets others riding stuff they’ve only ever dreamed of. And she knows the best places to go for post-ride beers!

Petra says ‘I can’t wait to be a part of dirtgirls. A whole week of riding with other girls and helping them go bigger, better and faster will be amazing.’dirtgirls weeks are not only for skills improvement, but are a great way to spend a week riding with other women and making new friends to ride with back home.

Petra will teach general trails skills to the 2008 dirtgirls and show how the skills of downhillers can be applied in all types of riding. Two groups of six riders will get the chance to learn from the master then put these skills into practice on rides with Sara, flowmtb owner and a dirtgirl from day one. A rest day is planned mid week with options from visiting a local spa, to hiking or more riding!

Minx, the website dedicated to cycle clothing for girls with attitude will be supporting the dirtgirls weeks once again. This year Minx will not only be providing end of week prizes, but is offering all 2008 dirtgirls a discount on pre-trip purchases so they can get ready to hit the trails in style!

Cost: €800 for the week to include accommodation, food, 6 day lift pass, guiding, tuition and airport transfers.
