Dirt team rider Ralph “‘wreckin'” Jones called by the office to load up with spares. In return he bought us a lovely chocolate cake.

Ralph has just returned from a race in San Remo where he finished 4th on the Saturday and 6th on the Sunday in quite a stacked field, including Barel, Riffle and Dale Spagnolo, Pedmanaud, Brayton and a load of other top riders. Fabien Barel took a hard slam and knocked himself out, according to Ralph, “the boy Barel was f**king flyin'”.

Dirt’s Steve Jones was also in attendance testing the new Empire bike (full report in Dirt). The race format was different to the normal one/two run system, apparently you had all weekend to set your fastest time allowing you to do as many runs as you could possibly fit in. Could that system catch on over here?

Hardman Nigel has muscled in on nice lady Jan’s sandwich round. Jan’s special sandwich the cheese and beetroot, is under threat from Nigels homemade pasties. Things could get nasty. We’ll let you know.
