We’ve just had an email from Eduardo de Solminihac in Chile to tell us that the number one Downhill Fantasy Team after World Cup round one is a captained by a Chilean Downhill legend, Felipe Vasquez.

This is what Eduardo told us:
“Just for the records, the Nº1 on the ranking after the first round is
Felipe Vasquez a Chilean Mountain bike living legend .
He is the National Down Hill Coach, 3rd on masterb at the Panamerican
Championship, etc…
He’s been racing bikes all his life and knows a fair bit, actually we
met at his house at 7am on suday to watch the race on the web
and all that he did was make fun of me because my team didn’t go too well!!!”

Eduardo de Solminihac who sent us the email also took the cover photo of Chris Van Dine for Dirt #87, the Chileans are on a roll these days.
Shirley spilt tea on the computer which wiped out a few of the original results, but the machine has dried out and all the results should be up now (split into four tables)
