It’s the US Open this weekend at the Diablo Freeride Park, Vernon NJ.
Stevie Smith won the DH event last year, with Sam Hill in second after apparently taking a tumble. This year the male and female DH winners pocket $5000 each with the slalom winners getting $2000, not bad for a days work eh?

I’m trying to find the riders entry list to see which world cup stars have entered and who has gone to the Lisbon Downtown instead.

We might get a report and photos up if anybody sends them my way, in the meantime here’s some more info:
