Change a life, support Wheels4life.

Crankbrothers dreambikes initiative was inspired by Hans Rey and his Wheels4Life charity, which donates bikes to people in developing countries who need basic transportation. A means of showing off the new line of crankbrothers products for 2010, dreambikes is also dedicated to improving the lives of people in need.

Crankbrothers partnered with premiere frame builders Ibis, Titus, Focus and Tomac, and component and accessories makers SRAM, Rock Shox, Avid, Fizik and Continental Tires to create a stable of impeccably equipped, one-of-a-kind dream bikes that were displayed at cycling events across the western U.S. and Europe.

Now, with the help of Performance Bicycle, crankbrothers will auction off the dreambikes and donate all of the proceeds to Wheels4Life. With the goal of raising as much as $50,000, the dreambikes auction will help Wheels4Life improve the lives of hundreds of additional individuals who desperately need a bike for purposes such as accessing health care or for getting to work or school.

Bidding will open at Bidding for Good on November 15, 2010 for the first of five week-long auctions running through December 19. Each auction will feature two dreambikes, and you can bid in as many of the auctions as you like. Good luck, and thanks for supporting dreambikes and Wheels4Life.
