The shootout between the pumptrack and the curling project in Cardona takes place today. So pick up the phone and dial 0871 626 8814
You can read the story here but essentially there is funding available via The Peoples Millions– a joint initiative between the National Lottery and ITV for either of the two projects.
There’s been some great volunteer work put in over the past few months on the pump track and it could be a great addition to the Tweed Valley mountain bike facilities. The only issue is that to win the vote they need mountain bikers to act in support.
Voting takes place today, all you have to do is ring this number 0871 626 8814 and it automatically registers a vote for the pumptrack.
10p per vote from BT landlines (more from mobiles) and max 10 votes per line. Lines open 9am until midnight. Further information available http://www.peoplesmillions.org.uk/regions/border/projects/cardrona-pump-n-jump-track
Please ring the number because the only person who likes curling appears to be Canadian Dirt photographer Grant Robinson and he is wierd.
