Cam Zink not only won the Rampage but took the top trick honours and the FMB overall title to boot.
Big props to Gee Atherton for blasting to an amazing 2nd spot.
Stay tuned for the videos coming soon.
After the first run Gee Atherton was sitting in first being the only rider to land the drop to wall at the bottom of the track. He decided not to take a second being happy with what he managed in his first and no one was alble to compete in the first round leaving him in the lead.
Final runs came and Cam Zink came from 15th with a second attempt at a 360 off the Oakley sender after crashing out in the first run to take the win. Gee managed to hold onto second with his storming first run. Darren Berrrecloth after a disappointing DNF first run managed to complete a run he was attempting back in 2008. With a smashed pedal right at the top he held on to throw in a 360 some smooth lines at the top loads of massive drops and wallrides to boost himself to a podium finish.
With Zinks 360 and all the crazy riding and heavy slams as the rider try to push themselves the Rampage proves again that its pushing the sport beyond anything else.
