Aston Hill Black run is back

Ben from Aston Hill has beamed me the news of the first race of the season at Aston Hill.

This is the news from the South East.

The Black run remains one of the most challenging downhill tracks in the South East, with its combination of tight switchbacks, roots, drops and some newly added “flow”. Race support will be provided by Xtreme Medics and Mikrotime. All riders can gain BC points (category C race)

Details on times and categories are listed as below.

Racing will be held on 15th March with each rider getting two timed runs.
Registration from 8.00am – 10.00am
Practice from 8.30am – 10.30am
Racing starts at 10.45am
Each rider will get two timed runs. Timing will be provided by our good friends at Mikrotime. Fastest time of two runs counts.

Pre entries are £22.00, on the day entries are £26.00.

We can’t tell you what the prizes are just yet but rest assured, they’ll be worth racing for and equal to the glory of beating your mates down the hill.

It goes without saying that a no helmet, no racing rule applies – and they really should be done up!!

Body armour advised. Best of luck to everyone who enters.
