Aaron Gwin Wins Windham Downhill Mountainbike World Cup 2011/Results

So here it is, Aaron Gwin has won the fifth round of this year’s World Cup in Windham, USA.

The love for Gwin on home soil was everywhere, some just couldn't contain themselves

As Nige Page put it, “the racing is hot and the weather is boiling”. Aaron Gwin has done it again, winning by 2.3 seconds…that is four World Cup wins out of five this year. And what does this mean? It means that Gwin has won more World Cups than any other US males rider ever. But the other big news is that Peaty was in second. Neethling third, Stevie Smith fourth and Brook Macdonald fifth. Crazy days.

Aaron Gwin...he's in there somewhere.

Peaty conquers his eponymous plunge and with it second spot on the box. Old Skool rules!!!
