Jacy Shumilak is Sam Hill’s mechanic of choice, and it’s not really surprising considering some of the little tweaks we’ve seen Jacy do over the years. He was one of the first to master ‘silencing’ a bike, and of course he’s the guy who brought us ‘moto foam’. His favourite tool was fittingly impressive too and came in the shape of this beautiful Abbey Bike tools chain whip and cassette lock-ring tool combo. I defy any mechanic not to fall in love with this setup, especially as the cassette tool stores neatly inside the chain whip.
