Recently its been snowing a fair bit, Harry Heath (Bazra bomb nation) recently paralyzed his thumb in a sleding accident and Sam ‘crusher’ Dale has been learning to ride trails on his new freestyle sledge which features an extra wide flat base.I’ve been a little put off from early experiences, the story goes… theres a forest near me with 2 big resoivoirs and in between both the of them is a large steep hill with flat compressions every 20 metres or so. I’ll let the picture explain the rest.
Snow days also mean other good things can happen. With the roads icy and snow falling we headed to the Boneyard skate park in Chester, the park opens at 3 and there is normally a few riders there which due to the set up of the park means you cant do all the lines. The park is awesome with vert quarters, volcanoes, a curved wallride and a really smooth jump box the possibilities are endless in this park. It was a mint sesh and no one else turned up for two hours, it felt amazing commiting to some tricky lines and as always blasting the curved wall and doing whips over the box felt the best.
