Now I know this ain’t a Road Bike magazine and some of you may think this a blatant plug for my sponsors but I do have actual emotions about this that I wanted to share. So fuck the doubters and let’s get on with it.

I’ve never been into Road Riding, I’ve only ever done it once and that was simply because I needed to pick my van up, so borrowed my mates bike. I even had to put flat pedals on it as I don’t have any clip shoes. My general opinion of that side of cycling has been that it was full of boring middle aged wankers that are more concerned with their mates looking at their ass for hours on end but as I’ve got fitter and started to ride more XC I have started to see the attraction. The idea of the bike zipping along real quick and discovering lots of tucked away places that you’d probably otherwise never see. I think I might give it a go this summer and see what all the fuss is about, maybe off in some warm climate could help too, really get to see and experience the area you’re visiting, ya know what I mean. Anyway, this film massively adds to my intrigue, how cool does it make it seem!! Plus Abi looks nice in it, much better than looking at some old man’s bum as you follow them down the road wouldn’t ya say!!!
