If you’re going to do something you may as well do it properly. If you build a trail with sketchy lips and rubbish berms you run the risk of seriously hurting a fellow rider, and nobody wants that.
Worst of all you may end up building through the habitat of a rare Lesser-Spotted Warty Toad or something– a sure fire way to get mountain bikers kicked off the land for good.
