We’re not sure if it’s possible, but we may love these Mavic SX’s even more than their own Deemax wheels. The reason being is that these wheels come close in the strength stakes and yet the weight savings you get from running them are enough to make a noticeable difference. This makes them suitable for a whole range of tasks – a lightweight set of DH race wheels or a bombproof pair of trail wheels. Like the Deemax’s they can be run tubeless and they simply ooze quality. If you’re after some super pimp wheels that do far more than just look pretty, then these are the answer to your prayers.
