Some of our overseas readers might think we’ve chosen these Hope pedals just because they’re made here in the UK, but they’re so good that we’d love them almost as much even if they weren’t made here. Crucially they have a great shape, which when combined with decent and well–placed pins results in superb levels of grip and feel. The other import aspect of a pedal is longevity, and seeing as Hope are no strangers to making products that continue to spin in British conditions it comes as little surprise to find that these pedals have some of the best bearings that we’ve ever come across. There’s plenty of meat in the crucial areas too, so a set of these should last you for ages. Perhaps more of a trail/enduro pedal than a full–on DH pedal like the e13, but either way we think you’ll love them.
